The interdenominational chapel at the Police Museum is hosted by the Venerable Order of Michael the Archangel Police Legion.  When planning the architectural structure of the Police Hall of Fame edifice in the late 1980's, curator Derrick Van Brode utilized an idea first suggested by a police family survivor that having a chapel located near the Memorial would be an excellent resource for survivors and other visitors to pray or spend a few minutes of silent meditation during a visit to honor a loved one who made the ultimate sacrifice. The chapel is also used for Knighting ceremonies for the Order of Michael as well as for weddings.
