Daughter of Disabled Officer Appreciates NACOP’S Outreach Program
Many thanks to all:
I was greatly touched by your kindness and thoughtfulness this holiday season. I never knew of an organization like yours and I would like you all to know how much it means to know that there are people like yourselves who take care in looking after fellow “families” in the police organization.

More than 4 years ago my father was in a traumatic helicopter accident that left him with many harsh injuries (my dad was a helicopter pilot for the police dept.) He had eight skull fractures, many burns on his legs, facial fractures, broken vertebrae and other injuries. He also has permanently lost the ability to taste and smell.

Along with the eight skull fractures came a 180º flip in this personality. He cannot remember things very well. There are many other things that occur but you don’t need to hear them.

Once again, I am very grateful for everyone’s help and kindness.

If you ever feel like you aren’t making a difference, think again. It was very touching to know that there are other shoulders for support.

Many Thanks,
Lori Lynch

Scholarship Provided By NACOP For Disabled Officer

I am in receipt of the scholarship funds for disabled officers which were made available to me through NACOP and the generous donations of its members and contributors. These funds have helped me to attend college and participate in an effort to rehabilitate myself through education after a disabling in-the-line-of-duty injury. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Suzanne J. Allen
