Frank and Evelyn Wallace say there is not a day that goes by that they do not think of their beloved son, Frank, Jr., a DEA pilot who was killed in the line of duty on August 27, 1994. The Wallace's wanted to do more to create a lasting tribute to their son that would benefit generations to come, and have donated to the American Federation of Police & Concerned Citizens, a scholarship, to be named the FRANK SHERIDAN WALLACE, JR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. It is their desire that this scholarship be awarded on Police Memorial Day of each year to ensure that future generations will remember their son and all Heroes in Blue who have paid the supreme sacrifice. This year the recipient is Mr. Harry Braddock of Fargo, ND, son of Officer Keith Braddock, of the Watford City Police Department, shot and killed in the line of duty.
