Because of the numerous parole hearing taking place in Ohio, the hearing for Anthony Wayne McIntosh has NOT yet occurred, nor is it scheduled for the month of September. The Phegley's can still use our help. It is not to late to send a letter protesting the parole of this man convicted of murdering a police officer.

Patrolman Jeffrey Manning Phegley
was shot and killed on January 21, 1987, while performing a routine traffic stop. He was a Police Officer for the Village of Morrow in Warren County, Ohio. Jeff was 22 years old.

Patroleman Jeffrey Manning PhegleyA jury convicted Anthony Wayne Mclntosh of the murder on August 18, 1987. He was sentenced to 15 years to life with an additional 3 years for using a gun during the commission of his crime.

In March of 2000, Inmate Mclntosh was granted a parole hearing. The Parole Board recommended that parole be denied and that recommendation was reviewed and upheld by the Central Office Review Board of the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.

On April 1, 2005, the Franklin County 10th District Court of Appeals affirmed, in part, a trial court's decision, which found in favor of inmates who filed a class-action lawsuit against the Parole Board, claiming they had not been treated fairly when their paroles were denied. As a result, Inmate Mclntosh is again being considered for parole.

Please take a few minutes to sign the petition, or write a personal letter, or sign the enclosed form letter, requesting that Inmate Mclntosh's parole again be denied, and that he be required to serve his life sentence.
