WHAT - A Medal of Honor and a place on the K9 Memorial.
WHEN - Ongoing.
WHERE - Nationwide.
WHY - To honor all K-9s who sacrifice their lives in the service and protection of their handler.
COST - $75 per dog
GOAL - 10 per year ($750)

WHO - Police departments who need to replace a K9 for any reason.
WHAT - Funding for a police K9 to replace a dog lost to death or retirement.
WHEN - Ongoing.
WHERE - Nationwide.
WHY - Police dogs are expensive, and often, under funded departments cannot replace a dog they lose.
COST - $6,000 per dog
GOAL - 10 per year ($60,000)

WHO - Officers disabled in the line of duty and their immediate families.
WHAT - College or vocational school scholarships.
WHEN - Ongoing.
WHERE - Nationwide.
WHY - When a police officer is disabled, he often loses not only his ability to perform his chosen profession, but also the ability to provide financing for his an his family's higher education.
COST - $500 per year per individual for a maximum of 4 years.
GOAL - 10 per year ($5,000)

COST - $1,250 per year per individual for a maximum of 4 years.

WHY - The first Thanksgiving after a family member dies is always difficult. We want to make it a little easier.
COST - $50 per family.
GOAL - 150 per year ($7,500)

WHAT - $500 for grief counseling and $1,500 for emergency assistance.

WHY - Money is often tight in the typical American home, and this is one way we can help in this time of crises.
COST - $2,000 per officer killed.
GOAL - 150 per year ($300,000)

WHY - The mission of the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum is to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. This is one way we do that.

WHY - To honor one individual police officer for the year and to pay special recognition to others who have served their communities in some extraordinary way and to show respect for the officers killed in the line of duty.
