Scholarships for Family Survivors

The Police Family Survivor's Fund provides educational scholarships to any son or daughter of an officer killed in the line of duty. We make no distinction as to whether the family is a member of our program and have issued more than 397 college scholarships to date! More than $354,000 in scholarship funds have been distributed since the program's inception in 1992. This year we were able to increase by 25% the amount of the annual scholarship assistance which is currently set at $1,500.00 per survivor son or daughter per year, to a maximum of $6,000.00 over the course of four years of college level scholarships. In the words of one recent daughter of an officer killed in the line of duty who is studying at Arizona State University, " I would like to once again thank the donors to AFP&CC Police Family Survivor's Fund for the scholarship and ensure them that this money will be put to good use in the pursuit of my education". It is testimonials like this tribute that we receive literally every week from the beneficiaries of this program. We are proud to state that this program will continue in the new millennium, as well. To find out how to apply for the educational scholarship, please e-mail us at policeinfo@aphf.org.
