Chief presents Posthumous Medal of Honor
to Family of Slain officer

IN LOVING MEMORY -- Chief of Police Lawrence Spagnola (Paterson, New Jersy Police Department) presents the APHF Posthumous Medal of Honor to the Family of the late Sgt. Enrico Venditte, who was fatally shot on May 23rd of this year while assisting in a court-ordered eviction of a tenant. The family was also presented with a check for $1,500.00 for emergency financial assistance and a check for $500.00 grief counseling grant from the AFP&CC. Representing the organization and it's many donors that make the program possible was staff officer and volunteer Dave Marantz. Donations can be made to this program here.
