'VESTS FOR LIFE' PROGRAM SETS NEW WEEKLY RECORD IN BODY ARMOR PROVIDED BY NACOP
Staff associate Diana Gomez reports that 60 additional sworn full-time law enforcement officers were provided with body armor this past week setting a new fulfillment record for the program established by the National Association of Chiefs of Police. The program acts as a clearinghouse between larger departments with used or excess vests and smaller departments with limited budgets whose full-time officers need body armor. To request a brochure that details the program's parameters, write to VESTS FOR LIFE BROCHURE, 6350 Horizon Dr., Titusville, FL 32780.
